November 7th (TUESDAY)
Call Team
November 7th | 5:30pm-7:30pm Arrive at Anchor Point Church at 5:30pm. We will call families that are receiving meals and verify their information. If you speak Spanish, this a great place for you to volunteer.
NOVEMBER 16th (THURSDAY)
Canned Goods Pick-up Team
November 16th | 9:00am-12:00pm We will drive around and pick up canned goods from different collection sites in our area and bring them back to Anchor Point Church. MUST BE ABLE BODIED - recommend being a strong person with a strong back.
NOVEMBER 17th (FRIDAY)
Call Team
November 17th | 3:00-5:00pm Arrive at Anchor Point Church at 3:00pm. We will call families and verify their information and contact volunteers that will be serving the next day. If you speak Spanish, this is a great job for you.
Support Team
November 17th | 4:00-5:30pm Arrive at Anchor Point Church at 4:00pm. We will help place signs, write thank you notes, and be runners for odd jobs.
SORT Canned/Non-perishable Team - FULL
November 17th | 4:30-6:00pm Arrive at Anchor Point Church at 4:30pm. We will organize and sort canned foods, and get rid of expired foods.
BAG Canned/Non-perishable Team - FULL
November 17th | 6:30-8:00pm Arrive at Anchor Point Church at 6:30pm. We will bag canned & non-perishable goods to go be delivered.
NOVEMBER 18th (SATURDAY)
You can only register for ONE serving position on Saturday!!
(Example a food packing team member cannot be a delivery driver)
Pick-up Team - FULL
November 18th | 6:30-8:00am Arrive at PUBLIX 6:30am. We will load food into our trailer for Turkey Take-Out. We will drive over to Anchor Point Church to unload.
Prep Line Team
November 18th | 7:00-10:00am Arrive at Anchor Point Church at 7:30am. We will be assisting in bagging turkeys, organizing the food line, and helping replenish the food packing lines. MUST BE ABLE BODIED - recommend being a strong person with a strong back.
Parking Team - FULL
November 18th | 8:00am-10:30am Arrive at Anchor Point Church at 8:00am. We will help direct and park volunteers arriving to serve.
Food Packing Team
November 18th | 8:30am-10:00am Arrive at Anchor Point Church at 8:30am. We will be packing and bagging the food for delivery. MUST BE ABLE BODIED - recommend being a strong person with a strong back.
Car Packing Team - FULL
November 18th | 9:30am-11:30am Arrive at Anchor Point Church at 9:30am. We will help load heavy bags of canned goods & meals into delivery drivers cars. MUST BE ABLE BODIED - recommend being a strong person with a strong back.
Delivery Team (PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION) - FULL
November 18th | 10:00am - until route is completed. Arrive at Anchor Point Church at 10:00am. We will deliver food and canned goods to each home on a pre-determined route. You can only register for ONE serving position on Saturday! (Example a delivery team member cannot be on the food packing team)
You will drive your personal vehicle and deliver meals to those in need.
YOUR VEHICLE MUST HAVE SUFFICIENT SPACE TO CARRY 15+ LARGE TOTE BAGS.
DO NOT DELIVER ALONE. You should have at least one passenger with you.
ONLY THE DRIVER NEEDS TO REGISTER.
***ARRIVE AT 10AM, PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE EARLY. WE HAVE A TEAM THAT WILL NEED TO PARK YOU IN A PARTICULAR MANNER.
Check-Out Team - FULL
November 18th | 10:00am-12:00pm Arrive at Anchor Point Church at 10:00am. We will assist those families that are coming to Anchor Point Church to pick up their meals. This includes contacting the families, checking families in, and loading the families' cars with food.
Clean & Reset Team - FULL
November 18th| 10:30am-12:00pm Arrive at Anchor Point Church at 10:30am. We will assist in cleaning and re-setting the church. This includes taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, and other duties.
